Celebrate Month of the Young Child 2023

April is Month of the Young Child at San Mateo County Libraries!

Join us at our 13 branches for family-friendly activities, free books, music and storytimes aimed to please and entertain young children and support caregivers! In addition to our regularly scheduled storytimes, Art Tables and free passes to local museums, we’ll welcome special performers for young children and parenting workshops from Parents Place. It will be a month full of celebrations for the youngest members of our families and communities! Lastly, join us the weekend of April 29–30 for el Día de los Niños, a celebration emphasizing the importance of literacy for children of all linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
