Check out a Library Explorers Pack at our libraries and equip yourself for an amazing adventure. Packs include a magnifying glass, binoculars, a Backpack Explorers Nature Guide, colored pencils and a waterproof notebook to log scientific explorations in nature.
Additionally, adults can make their hiking adventures a little easier with brand-new hiking poles. The poles are adjustable and lightweight, designed to give you more stability on rough terrain. Thanks to partnerships with the San Mateo County Parks, opens a new window, California State Parks, opens a new window and the California State Library, opens a new window, we’re excited to offer these new items to help you enjoy the natural areas of our beautiful county even more.
