3D Printer use is only available for patrons who are Peninsula Library System cardholders that have made a reservation and therefore accepted these terms and conditions online. The library staff reserves the right to refuse a 3D print request or suspend 3D printing privileges.
3D Printers will be available to use only during open hours; please check the schedule online for each participating location. Patrons may use the library’s 3D printer to make three-dimensional objects using only PLA filament, opens a new window. The Library cannot guarantee model quality or stability, and the confidentiality of designs.
The public will not be permitted to use the Library’s 3D printers to create material that is:
- Prohibited by local, state, or federal law.
- Obscene or otherwise inappropriate.
- In violation of intellectual property rights.
The Library reserves the right to refuse any 3D print request. The Library’s Behavior Standards must always be followed by users.
