San Francisco’s Chinatown With Dick Evans and Kathy Chin Leong

Delve into San Francisco's Chinatown in our latest Between the Lines event on Thursday, January 14, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Meet photographer Dick Evans and journalist Kathy Chin Leong as they share their collaborative journey through Chinatown, its history, celebrations, and residents. Participants will learn about this iconic neighborhood (the oldest Chinatown in America!) and receive a sneak peek into the book’s informative stories, interviews, and moments of life while viewing striking, colorful photography.

Dick Evans is a photographer and San Francisco resident who also created the documentary photography books San Francisco and the Bay Area (2011) and the award-winning The Mission (2017).
