Summer Learning doesn’t just apply to children and teens! Adults can sharpen their skills over the summer (or really any season) with free online resources through San Mateo County Libraries. To unlock these resources, all you need is your San Mateo County Libraries card beginning with “29041.”
Branch Programs
These are just a few of the online learning resources you can take advantage of this summer at the library. There are also plenty of adult programs happening at all of our branches so make sure to check out our upcoming summer events. From computer skills to crafts to cooking, you can learn something new at San Mateo County Libraries.
Summer Learning Challenge
Adults can also participate in the Summer Learning Challenge! Visit summerlearners.org, opens a new window to create your account and start earning badges.
Over the course of the summer, adults must read 5 books and do 6 fun, new activities to complete the challenge. Here's how it works:
- 1 book read = 100 points
- 1 activity = 100 points
- Reach 1100 points and you've completed the challenge.
