The East Palo Alto Library moved to its current location (the Municipal Services Building at 2415 University Avenue) in 1975. For the first time in 43 years, we can proudly say that we are now open 7 days a week!
Our library is a communal space that serves a variety of purposes to our wonderful community of all ages. We were motivated to open our doors every day of the week because we recognized the need for it. From accessing computers and WiFi, to finding that book for your research project, to needing a place to hang out and play video games; our library is an essential place to offer all of these free resources and more! To better serve our community and in consideration to those who work during the week, we decided to open our doors on Sundays - the only day of the week we had been closed in the past.
You can now visit the East Palo Alto Library on Sundays from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM.
Additionally, we now open an hour early on Saturdays from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
So come hang out! You're invited! And join us for a family activity every Sunday afternoon. 🙂
