Did You Celebrate National Twins Day?

Did you know National Twins Day, opens a new window was on August 6th? Every year on the first weekend in August, the Twins Days Festival, opens a new window is held in Twinsburg, Ohio. This festival even holds the Guinness World Record for being the largest gathering of twins and multiples in the world!

There are lots of twins to celebrate. William Shakespeare was the father of twins, Hamnet and Judith, and included twins as characters in The Comedy of Errors and Twelfth Night, Or, What You Will, writing a total of three sets of twins (creating lots of laughs from mistaken identities)! And did you know that Scarlett Johansson has a twin brother? You may even know some twins in your life!
