Dad & Me @ The Library Returns!

We're gearing up for another round of Dad & Me @ The Library programs! From November 2018-August 2019, you can visit your favorite library to see a performance of The Boy Who Cried Wolf! Everyone in the family is invited to attend.

Brought to us by The Puppet Art Theater Company, The Boy Who Cried Wolf is an updated zany version of a classic tale. The boy is bored watching his lamb and decides to make things more exciting by turning on his dad's wolf alarm, the "Wolf Alert 3000." Tricking his dad is all fun and games until a real wolf shows up. Will the audience help the boy escape from the wolf? Find out in The Boy Who Cried Wolf.

Every year, San Mateo County Libraries participate in the San Mateo County Dad's Workgroup, along with representatives from the Human Services Agency, Health System, Probation, Child Support and First 5. The workgroup's mission is "To provide a forum to address and support the importance of men and fathers taking an active role in the well being of children and families." In addition to Dad & Me @ The Library, the group also puts on other exciting events like Dad & Me @ The Park and Dad & Me @ The Pool.

The San Mateo County Dad's Workgroup has also designed an app! You can download the SMC DADS: Parenting App from the App Store or Google Play. The app includes a calendar of events, a playground locator, job postings, and more!
