San Mateo County Libraries is thrilled to announce that patrons now have access to the Wall Street Journal Online. The business-focused Wall Street Journal not only provides financial market and investment news, but it covers world news, politics, arts, culture and lifestyle. In addition to traditional news columns, readers will be treated to breaking news streams, blogs, videos and other interactive features.
As a library user, you can redeem a three-day pass for full access to the Wall Street Journal Online, the digital replica of the print edition, as well as access to a four-year searchable archive. Once you’ve created an account, you can customize your experience by signing up for news watch lists to be alerted when related articles or content is published. You can also customize your reading experience with different font sizes and other accessibility settings.
After three days, simply come back and access the Wall Street Journal Online via smcl.org/resource/wall-street-journal-online/. You will log in as an existing user with the same username and password you originally created.
The app is also available for download on the App Store or Google Play. We recommend that you get the app after you’ve created an account by navigating through the appropriate link on our website.
The Wall Street Journal Online will complement a strong online news lineup representing diverse political perspectives, including local news, through NewsBank, The New York Times Online and PressReader.
