Annual Tricycle Music Fest Kicks off October 5th

San Mateo, CA – Get ready to rock, play and learn at the library as San Mateo County Libraries gear up for Tricycle Music Fest! Starting Friday, October 5, the entire community is welcome to enjoy free concerts across the County and jam out to an award-wining line-up of performers who support local libraries and promote early childhood learning. This month-long event will bring the best kindie rockers to the Peninsula, so get those dancing shoes ready for an unforgettable October.

Each event will feature a concert and fun family engagement activities. At the end of each show, San Mateo County Libraries will raffle off one tricycle and one scooter.

Tricycle Music Fest is proudly sponsored by San Mateo County Libraries and co-presented by San Francisco Public Library, opens a new window. Alphabet Rockers, opens a new window

Dust off your dancing shoes and get ready to boogie with the Grammy nominated Alphabet Rockers! Their Belmont performance will include a dance experience sponsored by Young Audiences of Northern California.

Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band, opens a new window

Winners of the 2013 Latin Grammy for children’s music, Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band enliven the library with their whimsical, multicultural, and bilingual tunes. Get ready for a hip-shaking, head bopping dance party of fresh indie pop rock beats!

José-Luis Orozco, opens a new window

Music makes learning fun and 2015 Grammy nominated artist José-Luis Orozco is coming to delight us with his vocals and guitar which will make you want to sing-along and perhaps learn a few new words in Spanish!

Andrew & Polly, opens a new window

Parents' Choice Award winners, Andrew & Polly are bringing their catchy earworms and inventive re-imaginings of classic favorite songs to our libraries!
