Service Disruption
Due to the installation of a new automated book drop and changes to the manual book drop, Foster City Library will have some service disruptions from Sunday, June 30 - Thursday, July 18. The library will be impacted by intermittent construction noise during this time, and materials may take longer to return to the shelf. Over the next few weeks, we ask that you limit after-hours book and material returns. You can always return your library materials after-hours at any other San Mateo County Libraries location or nearby city libraries.
Minor Service Disruptions
Due to the installation of new automated book drops, the following locations will experience minor service disruptions:
- San Carlos Library: Monday, July 15 – Wednesday, July 31
- Millbrae Library: Tuesday, August 6 – Tuesday, August 13
- Belmont Library: Wednesday, August 14 – Tuesday, August 20
These libraries will be impacted by intermittent construction noise during this time, and materials may take longer to return to the shelf.
