Lynda.com provides a large library of streaming online instructional videos that range from business to technology to creative skills. Want to learn photography before your summer vacations? Now’s your chance! Or perhaps you’d like to design a website for a side project? Lynda.com has a whole learning trackopens a new window for that!
You can take an unlimited number of courses with 24/7 access on your computer or smartphone so you can learn at your own pace. These courses are taught by accomplished teachers and industry experts. Lynda.com and San Mateo County Libraries makes it easy to fit learning into your life, no matter what your schedule is.

Over the course of the summer, adults must read 5 books and do 6 fun, new activities to complete the challenge. Here's how it works:
- 1 book read = 100 points
- 1 activity = 100 points
- Reach 1100 points and you've completed the challenge.
