Calling All Fourth Graders! Free Park Passes and Field Trips

Attention all California fourth graders and their families! Did you know you can visit 19 California State Parks, opens a new window for free this summer?

Free Field Trips for Fourth Graders

in East Palo Alto, North Fair Oaks, Half Moon Bay and Rural Coastside Communities

San Mateo County Libraries is excited to announce that this summer and fall we will be hosting some adventure-packed field trips to the California Railroad Museum, opens a new window, Hollister Hills SVRA, opens a new window, Jack London State Historic Park, opens a new window and Samuel P. Taylor Park, opens a new window for fourth graders and their families who live in the communities of North Fair Oaks, East Palo Alto, Half Moon Bay and rural Coastside communities. 

Families familiar with our Library Explorers offering will remember the value of these hands-on learning opportunities. These field trips will focus on racial equity topics related to California history, as well as physical and mental wellness. English language learners, gender non-conforming, and BIPOC families from these communities are especially welcome to find out more about these amazing field trips.
