On Friday, September 2nd, San Mateo County Libraries invites you to join us for Art Break Day. Come to our libraries to “take an art break” and create art for free.

Art Break Day, created by the nonprofit Art is Moving, is an annual worldwide event where people of all ages are given the supplies and space to create art for free. Its mission is to show that art is for everyone, and that communities that regularly participate in artistic endeavors are shown to be more happy, healthy, vibrant, and connected.
