Print Anywhere

San Mateo County Libraries offers free printing, available to pick up at all 13 of our community libraries during library open hours. Simply submit your print job using one of the three options below, and retrieve your print job at the library location you selected in person from the Print Release Station, a self-service kiosk. Our computers are available for reservations and self-service printing during library open hours.

*The URLs and email addresses for sending your print jobs to the libraries have changed as of August 2024. Please update any saved bookmarks or contacts accordingly.

1.) Submit Your Print Job

Option 1: Web Printing

Use our web printing service to send print jobs to a printer at one of our community libraries.

Make sure to choose the same location when selecting your scheduled pickup location.

Option 2: Email Printing

Use our email printing service to email print jobs to a printer at one of our community libraries. Make sure to choose the same library that will pick up your print job.

Option 3: Mobile Printing

Use the Princh app available from the Apple App Store, opens a new window or Android App Store, opens a new window and follow the tutorial in the app.

2.) Pickup Your Print Job


After submitting your print job with one of the above options, arrive at your selected location during open hours and one of our staff members will gladly assist.

 

Information to Keep in Mind


  • Print jobs can be up to 25 pages* and should be formatted and ready to print as is.
  • *One side of a two-sided print page counts towards your 25-page/day limit.
  • Be sure you use the same community library location to:
    • Submit your print job
    • Pick up your print job
  • We do weekly maintenance on Saturday evenings where all outstanding print jobs are deleted. Do not send print jobs from 5 PM-12 AM on Saturday evenings when the libraries are closed. Please wait until Sunday or later to submit new print jobs.
  • Materials submitted should comply with our Computer Use Policy.
  • Printing sensitive or confidential information is done at your own risk. San Mateo County Libraries is not responsible for lost or misplaced prints.
