San Mateo County's Poet Laureate Caroline Goodwin is launching the next Poetry Is campaign: Poetry Is Family.
If you are a poet who lives in San Mateo County, we would love to read your poem that explores what family means to you. Let us know your age and where you live, and send up to 20 lines to: smcpoetryis@gmail.com between March 1 and April 15.
The Poetry Is Family contest is for all age groups. The select ed poems will be featured at a special event at the Millbrae Library on Saturday, June 11 at 2:00 pm.
