You’re Number One in Our Book, Let’s Celebrate Library Love!

Valentine’s Day is filled with candy hearts, chocolates, flower bouquets – and ah, library love! Our “We Love our Libraries” civility campaign, which aims to ensure our libraries are accessible and inviting for all, will have a special Valentine’s Day theme this week.

Join us in celebrating Valentine’s Day and show off your library love with special festivities!

You’re number one in our book! Let’s write love notes

All our libraries will feature a Valentine’s Day note box this week and you’re invited to write your community library a special love note. Your heart-warming letter could make our staff’s day! If you want to leave your library a kind message but can’t make it in person, you can share your thoughts with us or tag us on social media at @smclibraries. Wishing you and yours a happy Valentine’s Day

You’ll also see new Valentine’s Day signage, like flyers and posters, from our We Love our Libraries campaign, which promotes and celebrates patrons who show their library love by being mindful of others, keeping spaces clean, and caring for library materials. We also want to wish you a Happy Valentine’s day, so stop by to pick up a special Valentine’s Day bookmark for yourself and grab extras to share with the special people in your life.
