It's easy to enter and win:
- If you're not already following us, follow @smclibraries, opens a new window now! Only followers will be eligible to win a prize.
- Post photos or videos of yourself or with friends and family signing up for the Summer Learning Challenge at any public library or on summerlearners.org, opens a new window and tag @smclibraries in the photo. You can also include photos or videos of badges you've earned, challenges you completed, or reviews you submitted on your summerlearners.org profile. Other acceptable photos can include a photo or video of a kickoff program you attended or the free book you chose for signing up. Your photo must include the hashtag "#SMCLSummerSignup" to be entered in the giveaway.
- If your profile is private,“Like” the announcement post and leave us a comment! Tell us the free book you chose, or which library program you're excited for this summer! Your comment is your entry into the giveaway.

Additional Rules
Photos must be posted and tagged by 11:59 PM on June 30, 2018 to be eligible for entry. No purchase necessary. Participants may enter multiple original photos and there is no limit on the number of entries per participant. The giveaway is open to San Mateo County residents 13 years old and up, excluding SMCL employees and their immediate families. Winners under 18 years of age must have parental consent to claim their prize. No substitutions or exchanges are permitted. Inappropriate or offensive images and/or comments will be disqualified and removed.
SMCL will have a random drawing on July 1st. Four winners will be chosen. Winners will receive a prize notification the morning of July 2nd via social media and must claim their prize at a San Mateo County Libraries location of their choice as directed through the prize notification. Winners will receive an SMCL swag bag containing: 1 SMCL flat-bottom tote, 1 glass water bottle, 1 branded notebook, 1 mood pencil, 1 stylus pen, 3 bookmarks, 1 set of mini colored pencils, 2 pins, and 2 stickers.
If winning entrants of any prize cannot be contacted, fails to claim the prize, or is ineligible, he/she will forfeit that prize and the prize will be awarded to the next winner. Limit one prize per winner.
Subject to your profile and privacy settings, once you have shared content by posting it to the public, SMCL may re-share your content elsewhere, including but not limited to smcl.org, social media sites, and print materials that promote the library. SMCL will recognize you as the original author of the content by including your username, and if you consent, your actual name. SMCL will repost content shared as part of this giveaway for advertising and promotional purposes without compensation.
