Sanchez Library is launching updated hours! Beginning the week of September 18, the library will transition its hours, opening for Wednesday service.
Pacifica Sanchez Library Hours, Effective September 18
- Tuesdays and Wednesdays 12:00 – 5:00 PM
- Saturdays 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
This service adjustment comes after hearing feedback from the community. In partnership with the City of Pacifica, opens a new window, opening the library on Wednesdays will increase support for local students and their families. Sharp Park Library hours will remain unchanged.

“We are thrilled to make this change at Sanchez Library to fit the community’s needs,” San Mateo County Libraries Director Anne-Marie Despain said. “Pacifica is special in that we have double the opportunity to serve residents with two libraries here. This hours adjustment will be a better fit for students.”
