The 2023 Summer Learning Challenge is still going strong! Have you been exploring summer reading stories and trying new things? Learning new skills? Maybe you’ve been active in our lockbox challenge with Middle Scholars or dropped by for some of our regular storytimes. July is also a great time to step back from media by participating in Digital Detox. One great way to loosen up and stay active this summer is by getting out and joining us for some of our upcoming dance performances and programs.
Summer Learning helps students practice skills in reading and listening that can help them stay ready for the school year and prevent learning loss over the break. Activities that involve music and movement can also help improve cognitive performance. So, keep reading this summer and join the Summer Learning Challenge to earn a chance to win a $1,000 scholarship!
