Our bright blue Book Bikes have visited local parks, festivals, schools, and residential centers. We’ve even used them to hand out ice cream on Canada Road and Summer Learning prizes at coffee shops, and as moving displays in our libraries. Now our Book Bikes are touring Maker Faire Bay Area 2019, opens a new window and creating interactive pop-up experiences for all ages.
During May 17-19, we’ll outfit three Book Bikes for the Maker Faire with a DIY zine station to record your maker memories, custom button making from old books and magazines, Sphero robot mini-golf, ping pong ball run, and a battery-powered 3D Printer.
If you’re planning a weekend at the Faire, purchase a 15% discounted ticket, opens a new window and make sure to visit one of our Book Bikes for a chance to win a maker-themed book, ping pong ball, or sun visor. Just stop by our main booth (inside of gate D4 which is west of the Fiesta Hall) while at the Faire and ask for the current location of our Book Bikes that day.
We hope to see you at Maker Faire Bay Area, May 17-19!
