If you’re a library lover, we want to hear from you. What is it that you appreciate about the library?
Is it the thousands of books? Our bikes for checkout? Our weekly events? Our incredible makerspaces? Or maybe the fact that everything—yes, everything—is free!

Celebrate Library Lovers Month With Us
Head to our libraries to celebrate Valentine’s Day on February 14, and Library Lovers Month all February long!
We’ll have:
- fun, heart-themed 3D printing designs for you to try
- book-themed valentines you can fill out for your friends and loved ones
- special notes you can leave with us to show your library love
- blind date with a book displays—our staff have wrapped up some recommendations so you can’t judge a book by its cover!
We’d love to see your social posts sharing your library love, hashtag it #SMCLove and tag us @SMCLibraries across Instagram, opens a new window, Twitter, opens a new window and Facebook, opens a new window.
