The San Mateo County Libraries Bookmobile has a long tradition of visiting the San Mateo County Fair since 2013, and this year's event promises to be just as exciting as in years past. The Bookmobile is offering a range of activities for all ages, including the Summer Learning Challenge, arts, and crafts and much more!
The Summer Learning Challenge is a fun and interactive way for kids to continue learning throughout the summer months. The challenge encourages kids to read books, attend library events and complete various activities to earn prizes. Every kid who signs up for the Summer Learning Challenge will choose from a selection of free books to take home and enjoy. It's the perfect opportunity to get reading materials for the summer months.
For those who love to get creative, the Bookmobile will also have the Art Table set up. Visitors can stop by and create their own bookmarks or other art projects inspired by their favorite books. It's a great way to express creativity and show off your love for reading.
In addition to the Summer Learning Challenge, summer book giveaway and Art Table, the San Mateo County Libraries Bookmobile will also be joined by the Book Arts Roadshow at the County Fair on both Sundays (June 4 and June 11). The Book Art Roadshow celebrates the art of bookmaking, and they will be doing a drop-in craft activity at the fair.
