Can you believe it's been nine years since the last book in the Harry Potter series came out? Since then fans have had to make do with eight movies, two theme , opens a new windowparks, and a stage play, opens a new window.
But on Saturday, July 31st there will be a new Harry Potter book out in the world.
...Well technically, it's the book version of the new stage play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. But we are still excited!
It follows a grown up Harry, "As an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband, and a father, Harry Potter struggles with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs while his youngest son, Albus, finds the weight of the family legacy difficult to bear."

Book stores and libraries all over the world are holding Harry Potter themed events to celebrate the literary return of our favorite wizard with a lightning shaped scar.
- Woodside Library is having a Harry Potter fuse bead craft on Wednesday August 3rd.
- San Carlos Library is having a Harry Potter scavenger hunt on August 31st at 2 PM.
