Mark your calendars on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 1:00-4:00 PM for San Carlos Library's first ever STEAM fair! STEAM stands for Science & Technology interpreted through Engineering & the Arts, all based in Mathematical elements. You might have already participated in a STEAM based activity before, but come by our fair to see all the engaging activities we have to offer all in one place.
Complete the various activities set up in different areas of the library and staff will stamp your STEAM Passport which you can pick up at the fair. Present your completed passport to receive prizes, including a Google Cardboard viewer, opens a new window! (Limit one per household while supplies last.) You won't want to miss the flight simulator generously sponsored by Hiller Aviation Museum, opens a new window!
Other activities will include 3D printing, a ukulele petting zoo, button making, a Rigamajig building kit, giant Jenga and more.
Don't miss this fun and engaging event for all ages!
