Book to Action at Pacifica Libraries

Book to Action is an exciting program based on the classic book club concept with community service elements. This year Pacifica Libraries are reading Garbology: Our Dirty Love Affair with Trash by Edward Humes. The Pacifica Libraries are hosting multiple fun and informative garbage themed programs and events for a variety of ages through March and April. It all ends with a day of action on Saturday, April 21st where community members are encouraged to volunteer at local clean ups organized by the Pacifica Beach Coalition, opens a new window.

Have you ever wondered what happens to our waste and recycling after pick-up day? Join us and learn all about it! Get a free copy of Garbology at either Pacifica Libraries (while supplies last). Sign up at the library for our weekly Garbology email for questions to think about while reading Garbology and fun facts about trash and recycling.

Join us for one (or all!) of the following Book to Action events.
