We are excited to welcome children back for in-person storytime. Gathering together to hear stories, sing songs, and interact with other children is an important part of early literacy. Starting this month, our libraries will host a variety of weekly outdoor storytime sessions throughout the fall season. Across most of our locations, you can choose from Toddler, Musical, Preschool, Family, Bilingual Spanish, and Bilingual Mandarin. There is something for everyone!
Times and locations will vary, so take a look at our full list of upcoming storytimes.
All storytimes will be held in an outdoor space on our library’s grounds or in a park in your community. Here’s what you need to know!
- Outdoors at the library: Bring your own blanket/seating, sun protection, and face masks. We ask that all attendees ages 2 and older wear a mask. Capacity limits may apply.
- At a community park: Bring your own blanket/seating, sun protection, and face masks. Bathrooms may be unavailable depending on the location.
- Storytime may be canceled due to inclement weather or adverse air quality. If so, our event will be updated on our events page, or you can call Customer Care at1-833-YES-SMCL (1-833-937-7625) for a status update.
