San Mateo County Libraries welcomes event, class, performance and presentation ideas that strengthen our community by creating an inclusive sense of place and environment for learning, and that ignite growth through transformative experiences.
Individuals and organizations interested in partnering with the library on experiences are invited to submit a proposal according to one or more of the following goals from the library's Strategic Plan.
- Engage children and families in high quality, research-based learning experiences
- Bridge the digital divide by building skills and providing access to technology
- Develop creative experiences and services that have measurable results
- Grow a culture of learning and participation
Proposals are evaluated according to the needs and interests of the community and alignment to library goals and priorities. Due to the high volume of proposals that we receive, Library staff will respond to those proposals that most closely meet Library goals and community needs. Submissions will be kept on file for future consideration.
