Library patrons are responsible for any materials checked out on their library account. When a patron presents a valid card for use in checking out and/or reserving library material, staff assumes the card belongs to the patron or, if the patron does not have the same name as that on the library card, that the patron is using the card with the consent of the owner.
Staff will cancel and replace a card immediately if a patron reports a lost or stolen card.
