As adults, it can be challenging to find the time to develop new friendships. Between work, raising children, running errands and doing chores, our schedules can feel overwhelming. If meeting friends or making new connections always means going out, it can feel like you’re paying just to leave the house!
Book clubs provide community members with companionship and a space for discussing shared interests, completely free of charge! These clubs are a site for connection, no matter the focus. Cookbook Book Clubs have the unique benefit of having a lower time commitment than traditional book clubs.
What do you do in CBBC?
Every month, we browse a cookbook, try out a recipe and meet to share our experiences! We discuss our kitchen triumphs (and mishaps), share photos and rate the dishes we made.
- San Carlos Library meets on the second Wednesday of each month.
 - Foster City Library meets on the third Thursday of each month.
 - Atherton Library meets on the second Thursday of each month.
 - Belmont Library meets on the third Monday of each month.
