- Leave a caption for the image in the comments.
Submit your caption by the following Saturday after the release of the image. One winner will be chosen every week!
Winners in July will win an SMCL foldable tote bag, notebook, mood pencil, stylus pen, three coloring bookmarks, colored pencils, two pins, two stickers and a $25 Amazon gift card.
Complete Rules
Comments must be submitted by 11:59 PM on the following Saturday after the image is posted to be eligible for entry. No purchase necessary. To enter our giveaway, you must follow @smclibraries, opens a new window' Instagram account.
- Image 1: Will post Monday, July 2nd. Deadline to comment Saturday, July 7th at 11:59 PM.
- Image 2: Will post Monday, July 9th. Deadline to comment Saturday, July 14th at 11:59 PM.
- Image 3: Will post Monday, July 16th. Deadline to comment Saturday, July 21st at 11:59 PM.
- Image 4: Will post Monday, July 23rd. Deadline to comment Saturday, July 28th at 11:59 PM.
Participants may enter multiple, unique comments and there is no limit on the number of entries per participant.
The giveaway is open to San Mateo County residents 13 years old and up, excluding SMCL employees and their immediate families. Winners under 18 years of age must have parental consent to claim their prize. No substitutions or exchanges are permitted. Inappropriate or offensive comments will be disqualified, reported and removed.
SMCL will choose the best caption at their discretion. One winner will be chosen per week for a total of four winners in July. Winners will receive prize notification the morning of July 8, July 15, July 22, July 29 via social media and must claim their prize at a San Mateo County Libraries location of their choice as directed through prize notification. Winners will receive an SMCL swag bag containing: 1 SMCL foldable tote, a $25 Amazon gift card, 1 branded notebook, 1 mood pencil, 1 stylus pen, 3 bookmarks, 1 set of mini colored pencils, 2 pins, and 2 stickers.
If winning entrants of any prize cannot be contacted, fails to claim the prize, or is ineligible, he/she will forfeit that prize and the prize will be awarded to the next winner. Limit one prize per winner.
Once you have shared content by posting it to the public, SMCL may re-share your content on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter and our smcl.org blog. SMCL will recognize the original author of the content. SMCL will repost content shared as part of this giveaway for advertising and promotional purposes without compensation.
