When people think of libraries, they generally think of books and quiet spaces. Here at SMCL we like to shake things up and do things a little bit different. From September 10 to 16 join us as libraries around the world go Outside the Lines, opens a new window!
We will be hosting a myriad of activities that showcase the variety of activities we offer at your local branch.

3D Printing After Dark
Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 6:30 PM
The San Carlos Library is hosting 3D Printing After Dark, where you can learn all about 3D printing and even get a chance to make a little something for you to take home.
Pacifica Coastal Cleanup Day
Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 9:00 AM
The Pacifica branches and the Pacifica Beach Coalition will be hosting a beach clean-up. There will also be a treasure hunt, recycled art, and free books to boot!
Bacon, Blues, and Brews, opens a new window
Saturday, September 16th, 12:00PM - 5:00PM
Last but not least, you can find us at Facebook's Bacon, Blues, and Brews festival. Our Bookmobile will be making an appearance as well as one of our Book Bikes. We will also have one of our Occulus Rift VR stations available.
