Get out and Ride!

For 25 years Bay Area residents have been getting out of their cars and biking to work, celebrating bicycles as a fun and healthy way to commute. This year tens of thousands of regular and first-timers alike will bike to work on Thursday, May 9, 2019, for the 25th  Bay Area Annual Bike to Work Day, opens a new window (BTWD).

Book Bike Energizer Stations

San Mateo County Libraries is doing its part too! Seven BTWD Energizer Stations will be either hosted or co-hosted by San Mateo County Libraries. Ride your bike to work and on your way visit our Book Bike stations. We will be giving out snacks, tote bags, and goodies to all riders.

East Palo Alto/City of East Palo Alto

  • 6:30 AM - 9:30 AM: University Ave & Woodland
  • 6:30 AM - 9:00 AM: Post Office @ University Ave & Bay Road

Foster City Library

Millbrae Library/City of Millbrae

Pacifica Library/City of Pacifica

  • 6:00 AM - 8:30 AM: Hwy 1 & Reina del Mar

Portola Valley Library
