Join Us for Live Music With Jasmin Nicole!

Written By: David V. at Belmont Library

Get ready for good vibes and great music at San Mateo County Libraries! As part of Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month in May, we have a free concert series for you. We're thrilled to welcome Island Reggae artist Jasmin Nicole to the stage. Hailing from Kapolei, Hawaii, Jasmin is a powerhouse singer/songwriter whose sound blends island reggae with pop and R&B. A three-time Island Music Award nominee, Jasmin Nicole began performing at just six years old, even sharing the stage with the legendary Don Ho.

Jasmin’s talent blossomed early—by 11, she was playing drums, piano, guitar and ukulele. Since bursting onto the scene in 2018 with her #1 iTunes reggae hit Viral, she’s performed across Hawaii and the mainland United States with artists like The Green, Common Kings and Brian McKnight. With heartfelt songs like Rosatina, dedicated to her late grandmother, and recent favorite Local Boy, Jasmin brings soul, sunshine and undeniable stage presence. Don’t miss this unforgettable night of island vibes and community spirit at your library!

Upcoming Performances

Jasmin Nicole will be joining us at several of our community libraries this May.

We hope to see you at one of the upcoming concerts, Aloha!
