Cool Off in the Reading Garden
Grab a book and rest your legs in our inviting Reading Garden, a colorful, comfortable space for all. We’ll have a limited number of free book giveaways for visitors to take home on a first come, first served basis.
We’ll offer:
- Limited-edition SF Giants-branded library cards
- Summer Adventure reading logs
- eBook Stop with digital books to borrow
- Activity stations and more!
San Mateo County Fair is a great opportunity to engage with community organizations, learn more about local resources and kick off a summer full of library fun!

If you haven’t had the chance to collect your commemorative Giants-themed San Mateo County Libraries card yet, the fair is the perfect place!
This spring, we released Giants-themed library cards for new, eligible residents and existing San Mateo County Libraries cardholders.
Limited edition cards are also available at our 13 community libraries on a first come, first served basis to eligible residents.
Free Day for Youth and Seniors
