San Mateo County Libraries is proud to offer a series of free Immigration Workshops designed to support community members as they navigate the U.S. immigration and naturalization process. These welcoming, multilingual sessions provide trusted information, legal resources and personalized guidance in partnership with attorneys from the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).
Immigration Resources
Immigration can feel complex and overwhelming, but these workshops are designed to meet people where they are. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the citizenship process, including naturalization requirements, application support and interview preparation. Participants may also receive guidance on topics such as U-visa applications, Temporary Protected Status (TPS) and other immigration-related questions. CAIR attorneys will be available for one-on-one legal consultations and support, and translation services will also be available.
Each workshop is free and open to the public, and all are welcome regardless of immigration status. Sessions are designed to be accessible, respectful and community-centered, with the goal of helping residents feel informed, supported and empowered.
These workshops are part of San Mateo County Libraries’ ongoing commitment to connecting residents with vital resources and trusted partners across the county.
