Join Half Moon Bay Mayor Rick Kowalczyk, and San Mateo County Supervisors Don Horsley and Carole Groom, opens a new window, as they mark the official start of site work on the new library.
The new Half Moon Bay Library, serving the City and the Coastside community, is designed to meet the needs of today's and future community learning activities. With everything from popular circulating collections of books, world language materials, DVDs and growing digital collections, to social gathering places, family programs, free WiFi connections, a literacy classroom, and a special Makerspace and Teen area, the new library will provide everyone in the community with wonderful learning tools and experiences.
The new Half Moon Bay Library will open in 2018.
