About the Belmont Library Project
At San Mateo County Libraries, our vision is to create inviting and versatile spaces that inspire exploration of our collections and offer enriching programs and services.
In partnership with the City of Belmont, the Library Improvement project included interior and exterior painting, updated flooring, new furniture and shelving, and innovative meeting room technology. We are also thrilled to unveil the new makerspace, designed to spark creativity, foster learning, and encourage hands-on exploration, made possible by the generous support of the Friends of the Belmont Library and donation honoring longtime resident John Christgau.
