Join San Mateo County Libraries as we experience the solar eclipse on the morning of Monday, April 8. San Mateo County won’t see a total solar eclipse—which is a brief moment when the moon completely blocks the sun—but we will have a chance to enjoy a partial eclipse from 10:13 AM to 12:15 PM. We are excited to offer free eclipse glasses, distributed from our library locations on a first come, first served basis while supplies last.
