We're excited to welcome Bay Area author Minna Dubin for a special discussion on her new book, Mom Rage: The Everyday Crisis of Modern Motherhood. On Saturday, May 4, at 2:00 PM at Belmont Library, Minna will share about the unspoken crisis of anger sweeping the country with fellow local writer Jill Kolongowski. Mothers aren’t supposed to be angry, but Minna was an angry mom: exhausted by the grueling work of full-time parenting and feeling her career slip away. Mom Rage draws on insights from diverse maternal experiences to offer practical tools to help readers manage their rage and advocate for the social change we need to stop raging for good. We hope you join us for this special author event—the first 50 attendees will receive a free copy of Mom Rage to take home. Keep an eye out for free giveaway copies of Mom Rage at other San Mateo County Libraries locations! |
