The 2024 Presidential Primary Election is just weeks away. Election Day is Tuesday, March 5. Ballot boxes are located at or just outside several of our libraries: Belmont, Brisbane, East Palo Alto, Half Moon Bay, North Fair Oaks, Portola Valley, San Carlos and Woodside. In addition to hosting ballot boxes, Belmont, Half Moon Bay and San Carlos Library will also serve as Vote Centers. We’re here for you with nonpartisan resources to ensure you feel empowered and informed to vote. - Voting is open now Ballots were mailed to registered California voters on February 5. You can vote early at a Vote Center, by mail or at an available ballot drop box.
- Need to register? To register to vote in California online or via mail, the deadline is February 20. You can also register in person at Vote Centers through Election Day March 5.
- Primary Election Day is March 5 All 45 San Mateo County Vote Centers will be open from 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM. Vote-by-mail ballots must be postmarked on or before the Primary Election.
