As we close out 2023, we’d like to take a moment to reflect on the awe-inspiring year we’ve had. Our accomplishments, including new services and innovative offerings, wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our dedicated community members. Your powerful ideas have pushed the boundaries of what our libraries can be. This year, we celebrated the launch of our new all-electric Makermobile, hosted Mental Health First Aid training, provided unforgettable educational youth experiences, and free access to period supplies and diapers for our community. Our talented staff continue to foster an environment of growth, learning and exploration. Thank you for being a part of our community. We can’t wait to see what you will inspire in 2024. Happy holidays from all of us at San Mateo County Libraries! Sincerely, Anne-Marie Despain Director of Library Services |
