Reflecting on another remarkable year, it’s hard to believe all we have achieved together. We’ve shared unforgettable moments, from witnessing the eclipse across San Mateo County to unveiling our first 24/7 Library Outpost and opening the popular new makerspace at the Millbrae Library. We also expanded our Library of Things to include video games and proudly launched Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in partnership with the Foundation for San Mateo County Libraries and our Friends of the Libraries. Through a year filled with growth and learning, we’ve come together as a community, and we remain deeply thankful for the opportunity to serve you. However you are spending this season, we wish you peace, joy and happiness, and look forward to another year filled with new experiences, learning and connection. Happy holidays and a wonderful New Year from all of us at San Mateo County Libraries! Anne-Marie Despain Director of San Mateo County Libraries |
