MILLBRAE, CA – San Mateo County Libraries present the 4th annual Young Adult Novelist Convention (YANovCon) happening this Saturday, January 26 at the Millbrae Library.

YANovCon provides an exclusive connection to some of today's top authors. This free celebration will include panel discussions, author hangouts, and book signings with at least twenty award-winning, notable, and new young adult novelists including Kristin Elizabeth Clark, Meg Medina, Heidi Kling, Jesse Andrews, and more!

This family-friendly convention brings readers and authors together for a half-day of engaging young adult literacy programming and includes local organizations focusing on the theme of teen resilience on issues they face every day.

Anticipated Schedule
12:00 - 1:00 PM: Early arrivals, book sale, and community fair (first 200 will get a free tote bag)
1:00 - 2:00 PM: Opening session
2:25 - 3:05 PM: 1st breakout sessions
3:15 - 3:55 PM: 2nd breakout sessions
4:05 - 5:05 PM: Author one-on-ones
5:05 - 5:45 PM: All author book signing
